I imagine Mike being really charming with the ladies and I have a feeling he's bumped uglies with all of FUs female collaborators, but then I get pissed because I'd crawl a thousand miles through broken glass just to hear Nika Danilova speak.
HaHaHa, that's quite the "review." For what it's worth, here's another one, albeit not written by a small Asian female:
"Fucked Up put on the first truly memorable performance of the festival, as lead singer Damian Abraham decided to reduce the distance between himself and the audience by leaping over the barrier and spending most of the set in the middle of the mosh pit. I guess the organizers had been forewarned, as he was provided with an extra-long microphone cable to do so. On stage, the rest of the six-piece, three-guitar band blasted out some trippy, progressive hardcore tunes. And if you think that progessive hardcore is an oxymoron, you haven't heard Fucked Up!"

when are people going to get over the singer spending all his time in the crowd and realize that it got old a long time ago and hes not really putting on a show at all except for the 15 people in the front that can see him. what about the people in the back or anywhere else? respect to the band for standing up there and holding it together while pink eyes does his contrived tricks I'm all for crowd interaction but it's getting really stupid
Each FU show I've been at, seems like Damian gets in to the crowd precisely to take it to the folks at the back. e.g. the Village Underground show in London recently. That's never going to get old.
I wish more bands would get into the crowd. Like Gallows for example, even their guitarplayers join the party. That's just awesome. Next time I wanna see Damian do a 360 frontflip stagedive, belly first, we won't setlle for anything less.

Damien is actually the best frontman I've ever seen in person. Looking at youtube clips Stiv Bators would just destroy him in terms of pure frontmandom but I honestly think that Damien may be the best who is currently alive. I'm not sure what happened to Tony Erba.
Noticed the ac30. That is always a good choice. Straight up, if it's ever a volume war, the ac30 is gonna win. I almost had gotten one a couple years ago but felt like my ears were bleeding as I left the guitar iso-chamber. Speaking of amps, you guys always have more than you need behind you it seems. I saw like two marshall stacks in the back background not being used. What's up with that, you guys yngwie malmsteem and shit or something?

I've seen a few bands doing the punky getting in the audience bit and it has makes a fine old spectacle, but at a FU show it's easy to join in and have fun without worrying that you're not doing the right kind of dance / wearing the right kind of clothes / don't have enough muscles / generally uncool. It's inclusive and that's a lot to do with Damian's frontmanship (frontmandom isn't a word).
Thats because you are all 20 years old and there are no good front people in music anymore so Damian has nothing to compete with. great by default. crap if you know better.
