Hey everyone, you may have tried to buy or bought our LP for Ebay Day, Davids Town. Since lots of creeps went out to buy this specifically to flip it on ebay as soon as they got home and make up random pressing amounts to put in the listing title, here are some facts:

Anyone have trouble fitting "David's Town" into their record player? Maybe mine had a labeling error. Great album, but the first side sounded kinda warped, though :/

EBAY DAY is way more fitting, cause its all about going to a record store ONE DAY out of 365 just to score that one ltd. record. And the other 364 days are spent online ripping songs or "winning" records on ebay.

I'm sure it sounds even more familiar than that, but I'll take your word for it. Whatever it sounds like it should be a hit, if only you'd remembered to get it plugged to radio stations, rather than tagging it on the end of a pretend compilation album.

I bought a copy just to filp on ebay. Im sick of getting fucked over, so i decided it was my turn. The only thing I wanted was the OFF! 7" and saw the last one of these and thought "huh maybe ill break even". I cant say i feel bad about it either.
Got my copy in Cork, Ireland. "It's Hard To Be a Dad" is fucking brilliant.
All you guys buying records to flip on eBay are arguably just as bad as the capitalists we all claim to despise. Just a thought.

I'm selling mine on ebay in order to fund an anti-capitalist revolution. I'm therefore a little put out that Mike and his billionaire band mates have released 2000 copies instead of the 750 they said they would. This has flooded the virtual market somewhat. To top it all several good quality torrents of the album all mysteriously appeared online. I wonder how they got there?

It's a bit like a dolly mixture, but less likely to appear on ebay and it wasn't on Couple Tracks, so I'd struggle to hum it out loud.
Humming doesn't come across so well on internet talkboards either. I was in Hoxton on Saturday just gone, nary a cnut in sight.
I got a Diverse One Am cd for cheap on ebay. Like, 7 dollars with the shipping cheap. It was used, but ebay isn't all evil.

Unrequited Love...
This song takes me completely out of the element because, although it is a fake compilation, the fact that Sandy provides (dreamy, beautiful, eloquent, sexy, cute) vocals for this song about unrequited love makes it very hard to digest.
How could a woman like Sandy ever experience that feeling? I imagine she would have men fawning over her ever step. If I were every man in the world, I would be throwing myself at her feet; content to be strewn across puddles for her to walk across.
Also, in some interview I saw with her and the Animal Man recently, she didn't use "like" as a refrain one single time and that is infinitely attractive, unlike the serial "like" abuser, Damian Abraham (although I wasn't sexually attracted to him in the first place - sorry, bro).

They might want to drop one of the double references to Damian's wounded animal voice.
And one of the double references to your love of English indie pop.
And since you have such a love, they might want to change Liam to Noel Gallagher in the list of guitar players.

Before listening to David's town I thought it was going to be deliberately cheesy and a bit crap, but now I can't stop playing it. All the songs are great. I even like 'My old man's a Ginger' for its WTF? quality.
The Redstocking one is pure genius though. Particularly in the sun. With some weed.

After going out on RSD to find they were all sold out in TO by noon, I managed to find a copy today in Burlington. Ironically they said it was the only RSD release they didn't sell.
I believe one and all must look at it.
For this reason players have a tendency to be tempted to get Gold WOW through safe web internet sites. Unless you will be an achieved player, accumulating the Gold for WOW you will need could possibly be a frustrating procedure.
