Hey I've got nothing really to say lately cause we're on tour and nothing interesting or stressful at all is happening that I can tell you about and I know a lot (2) of you are kind of upset about the whole BEGN fiasco that we designed specifically to fuck with you and you are crowding up all the cool comments that anonymous is leaving in the comments section, and since reading the comments section of LFG is legit one of the only things that gets us as a band through these long tours, talking about certain posters over dinner and in the van, I thought I might make this post and leave it up for a few days so you can all get all your BEGN posts out of your system, even thought it kind of makes no sense to have them here at all anyhow. Ok thanks.

It wasn't that bad, i mean it wasn't exactly expensive in the long run, thewhole exclusivity things only really fucked off collectors.
The UK delivery had some issues though Sandbag's emails stopped working so there was no way to get a response, but everything turned up.
The whole David project was a fucking blast, each side works on it's own.
BEGN = Buy Early (June) Get November. It's Mike's fault.
Also some time in June I started to get the impression that a lot of religion is is like play narrated by men, setting out their view on how we should live and then presenting it as God's will. I'd like to complain about that too.

I wasn't having a dig at the band over the whole BEGN/Sandbags things in my previous comment, just that I thought I'd post here as I was not getting much response from Sandbags themselves, in the vain hope that you guys may have some clout over them.
Although I think Sandbags should reman their business to shitbags.

Why would this not be a good place to post queries about a BEGN for your album? some of us have been here for ages and jumped at the chance to go for the BEGN deal.
i worked at the place that distributed the Pavement BEGN thing back in the day....that was a nightmare too but the 'exclusive' LP that came with that was at lease 'exclusive'.
i just feel i would have been happier buying my record from a record shop and getting the 7"s from you lot via email or at a show.
the ironic bit is getting a download of the RECORD STORE DAY album with the MAIL ORDER deal. i know you lot don't give a fuck really and business like this has been handed on to other peeps but show some support for the record shops you and your fans frequent.
....maybe Black Albino Bones will have a part 2 all about amazon and ebay??!

I`m still waiting for my 7" as well - I`m in Germany. I`m not too pleased how the whole thing turned out but that`s nothing against you (the band). The idea is still great and I`d be grateful if you did something similar next time. I`m sure it`ll work out better then.

My friend had a spare copy of Police, 4th press, limited to a million copies, which he left by his scanner before smoking lots of crack.
Imagine his surprise when he woke up the next morning to find that someone had swapped it for a Fucked Up 7'' which no one has heard of! It's called 'David's Secret'. The cover is a black & white photocopy image of a woman in a shawl, looking a bit strange, it also has the FU logo sellotaped to the corner and it's hand-numbered 1/10.
The disk itself has the title 'David's Secret' hand written in blue biro over tipex. The reverse side features a cartoon image of a policeman.
I don't know anything about it, but am selling it on ebay for my friend. He also has a couple of test pressings (the covers are glued together and you can't get the disks out).
